Values That Matter to Clemson Community Church
Exaltation of Christ
We believe Christ should be the true Head of our Church. Therefore, we want to exalt Him through personal and corporate
worship- as well as through regularly having the Lord's Supper.
(Colossians 1:15-20; Acts 20:7)
Spirit-led Ministry
We believe that it is through prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit that we will see God work in and through us both as
individuals and as a local church. (Psalm 33:16-22; Col. 4:2-4)
Every Member Ministry
We believe that every Christian is to have a growing, dynamic relationship with Christ; discover their individual spiritual
giftedness and ministry to others; and reach his or her maximum potential in serving Christ within a church body which
encourages joyful participation rather than passive observation. (I Peter 2:5-10, 4:10,11)
Commitment To God's Word
We believe the Bible to be God's inerrant Word, and that it should therefore be the foundation for our The Great Commission
lives. We want to teach the Bible in a practical way in order to facilitate obedience to God's desires and His plans for our
lives. (2Tim.3:16,17;2Peter1:19,21)
The Great Commission
We believe that our church should play a vital role in fulfilling the Great Commission through winning friends to Christ,
instructing and building them in their faith, and sending them out to win and build others in Christ. (Matthew28:19-20; Acts
1:8)
Committed Relationships
We believe committed relationships are the most vital part of our ministry. People will truly grow only as they experience
loving, caring, and devoted friendships. (Acts: 2:42-47; Philippians 2:1-4)
Develop Fully Devoted Followers of Christ
We believe Christians should mature and demonstrate the reality of Christ in their lives through their love for others, joyful and
abundant hearts, Godly families, excellence in their school or work place, and Godly character and integrity. (Titus 2 14;
Colossians 1:28)
